Not Enough Time in the Day!

It's already September, take that in for a moment. We only have 4 full months left in the year people! I feel like the year just started, and yet it's almost to the end. It seems that we're always asking "where has the time gone?" Time is something I'm always finding myself fighting because it just never seems like there is enough of it.

Between a husband, kids, school, three jobs, housework, usual errands, and doing things with friends and family, there just isn't enough time to do everything and make everyone happy. Granted I know it's practically impossible to make everyone happy, but a little extra time to complete things would be much appreciated. This is where I have become nearly a perfectionist when it comes to time-management. Some would say almost OCD about it, but I'm not sure that is necessary. I prefer to be at least 10-20 minutes early to whatever I have going on, and if it seems I'm only going to be 5 minutes or less early then I panic.

Times like this, when I take the time (haha) to reflect on the lack of time we seem to have makes me realize just how fast-paced our society has become. It's the reason why fast food chains are growing, and why drive-thru convenience stores are becoming a thing. Fast, time efficient, and ready at an instant.

No matter if it's the years, months, weeks, days, hours, minutes, or seconds flying by in a blur, time is the force that no one can really win against. It keeps ticking by in a consistent pattern. In a way it's a comfort, and in others it's depressing how fast time slips away.
