John Grisham & Joe Hill

Sure, you can buy books by these super famous guys, or you can buy Heartache Along the Cannonball by Ronald L. Pollworth. Okay, that's my one shameless plug.

John Grisham has a new book out tomorrow, The Rooster Bar. I haven't read a lot of Grisham, just some of his big hits like A Time to Kill and The Rainmaker. His newest novel takes you inside a law firm that's on shaky ground.

Three law students have been caught up in a law school scam. They concoct a plan to expose both the law school and the bank. The New York Times says to "pull up a stool, grab a cold one, and get ready to spend some time at The Rooster Bar."

The King boys have been busy this month. Owen and Stephen collaborated on Sleeping Beauties, which came out earlier this month. I haven't read it, but I have the audio version ready to go. I have an eighteen hour road trip ahead of me. Anyway, Joe Hill. Joe Hill legit scares me. I've only read one of his novels and it scared the crap out of me.

Strange Weather is a compilation of four short novels. Just in time for Halloween! Snapshot, Aloft, Rain, and Loaded are sure to please, assuming you like being scared. If you don't, I'd steer clear of Joe Hill.
