Follow Those Who Pale in Your Shadow

Today's featured new release is Gold Dust Woman: The Biography of Stevie Nick by Stephen Davis. Of course it is. Because WE LOVE STEVIE. Music journalist turned biographer, Stephen Davis, is the gold standard when it comes to biographers. He's written extensively on Bob Marley, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Jim Morrison, and even Fleetwood Mac; making him the perfect person to bring Stevie's story to life.

Though Fleetwood Mac and Buckingham play a huge role in this book, they are not the focus. The centerpiece is Stevie; everything from her early life to her post-Fleetwood Mac solo career to her impact on music today.

I don't read many biographies. But, I'm pretty excited about this one.

I mean, no one tambourines quite like Stevie.

Also out today:

Little Broken Things by Nicole Baart

"An engrossing and suspenseful novel for fans of Liane Moriarty and Amy Hatvany about an affluent suburban family whose carefully constructed facade starts to come apart with the unexpected arrival of an endangered young girl."
