Fall Fling, Upcoming Releases, and Etsy

Hi, readers. Last week was bananas. We spent most of the week getting items ready for the Fall Fling at Belle Starr Antiques & Vintage Market while also working on final edits for not one, not two, but three books set to release this month.

But, first, let's talk about that fling. We met so many folks, it was really amazing and made getting nearly devoured by fire ants totally worth it. We sold a few items, saw some old friends, and made a few new ones. All and all, it was a success. I'd like to thank Beth for putting in the time and effort to host so a rad event.

So, what's next? New releases, that's what. Lynx & LeRouxnatics will be delighted to hear that Charlaine LeRoux is back with Folklore: A Field Guide. You may pre-order the eBook here, but I'm telling you, readers, you're going to want the paperback edition of this one. Bonus materials such as notations made by Charlaine and illustrations by yours truly really set the paperback apart from the eBook. So, you know, do what you want, but the paperback is going to be dope. And reasonably priced. The digital copy is hitting the Amazon shelves on October 8th. A paperback order will be placed soon so, locals, hit me up if you would like one.

M.C. Woodward is back with a collection of short stories, poetry, and other writings in this mishmash we're calling Writings of a Cultural Nomad. The eBook is available for pre-order and paperback copies will be in the office October 15th.

Lastly, Greeta Catherine Russell has written a beautiful memoir. In it, she explores loss, grief, and, eventually, hope as she and her family recover from the loss of a child. I Am Lazarus is a beautiful, sad story that will, ultimately, leave the reader feeling hopeful and thankful for what they have. The title will be available in both eBook and paperback editions.

As some of you know, we're crafty queens. Jessica is a fragrance blender extraordinaire and I do a little bit of everything from crocheting to card making. Today is the official launch of our candle line on our Etsy store. Yep. We have an Etsy store. You can find it here.

There you'll find Lynx & LeRoux swag, candles, and cross stitch. As the temperatures drop, be on the lookout for our knit wear launch!

Readers, thanks for stopping by and I'll catch you later.

Reading in the Time of COVID

Readers, I have a confession to make. I'm having trouble reading. Me. The gal who reads at least seventy books a year. I'm having trouble. I think, with all that's going on in real life, I'm having tr
